Once again the Indiana PHCC convention was a tremendous success. I commend all those who had a hand in making this event happen. It was filled with valuable information as well as being a great opportunity to network with others who are working through many of the same challenges that we all face on a daily basis. I am especially thankful for the many sponsors who gave their support to make this possible. I'm already looking forward to next year.
I hope you are planning to join us for our October 21st luncheon at Primo's. John Bain with RT Moore will speak to us about his work to attract new talent into our industry. This is a highly beneficial program sponsored by the IN State PHCC that will go a long way toward helping us all meet work force demands in the years ahead. You won't want to miss this opportunity to learn how this program can help your business in a positive way. Congratulations are also in order to John as he is this year's recipient of the IN State Contractor of the Year. Well deserved!
I don't want to miss the opportunity to send a word of congratulations to our friends at L.E. Isley & Sons for celebrating 100 years of business this year. This remarkable company was started as a family-owned business in 1915 by Lawrence Edward Isley. After 100 years and four generations, L.E. Isley & Sons is still going strong under the leadership of Brad and Doug Isley. You can learn more about this quality company at http://www.isleyplumbing.com.

Big Night For GIPHCC
At this year's Indiana PHCC Convention it was clear GIPHCC and its leaders were well represented!
Mark Helm, P.I.P.E., Inc., was installed as the 119th President of the State Association! Mark is a GIPHCC Past President. There were plenty of P.I.P.E. folks on hand to congratulate Mark including Wayne Parrish, Gary Mitchell, and Steve Pfendler.
Mark has selected Brian Lebo, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, to serve as his Secretary.
John Bain, RT Moore, was honored as Indiana PHCC Contractor of the Year.
Mark Fasel, former GIPHCC Board member, was honored as Advocate of the Year.

News of Note
Welcome to Chris Harris, Mr. Quik, who will fill a GIPHCC board vacancy.
Don't forget: Christmas is Just Around the Corner. Once again we will be collecting toys for Toys for Tots, the Marines' Christmas project. Please make a note to bring toys to the November GIPHCC luncheon meeting. Another gentle reminder: the 11-14+ age range is often overlooked or forgotten in this project. $5 will be subtracted from your luncheon tab for bringing in a top. Dave Heffner, our Marine, will also cheerfully accept monetary donations at that time.
Tabletop Opportunities:
Please take note of the luncheon meeting topics listed below in Mark Your Calendar. If there is a topic or a date you'd particularly like to be the tabletop presenter for, please contact Ann at mabooth01@gmail.com and get signed up.
