programNovember 10th Program: Embracing Creativity

Learn the secret art of mailbox decorating and bow making for the holidays at our November meeting. Presented by our own Jen Risey & Lauri Baddour, we will leave the gathering ready to spread the gift of a decorated mailbox. The meeting is Friday, November 10th, 10:30 am at the home of Linda Pace, 4852 Rivercliff Drive. If you would like to attend but need childcare please email Belinda Vogel.

October was a busy month! The CPWC enjoyed a wonderful cooking class with Chef Shan where we learned to make Channa Masala,  had a festive First Friday with an Oktoberfest theme and enjoyed a wonderful Halloween family gathering at McFarlane Park! Garden Club: Save the date! Next meeting in December.
The Garden Club will visit the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for the Holiday Light s in D ecember. The 
date and time will be provided later this month. 


The Garden Tour Committee would like to express their "Thanks" to everyone who volunteered and donated to the Tour. The proceeds were $3,800.00. Next year we are looking for someone to help Susan Weinstein Co-Chair the event. We are also in search of 4-6 gardens to tour during the early fall. If you have a wonderful garden in East Cobb or know of a friend that has a garden that they would like to "share", we would appreciate your input. The CPWC Garden Club will be apart of the Committee for 2018's tour. Join in the fun! Contact: Lynn Thompson or Susan Weinstein.

Girls Night Out: Save the date: Nov 9th!
Join us for a girls night out at fab'rik, from 7-9pm! They are closing their doors for a VIP shopping experience.  All guests will receive 20% off their entire purchase, the fab'rik stylists will provide personal styling tips and tricks while you sip on complimentary refreshments! Get ready for a night of fashion and fun!  RSVP

Evening Group and Savvy Women Have Merged! Save the date: Nov 14th!
Savvy Women will be held on  Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from  7 to 9 PM  at the home of Chris and Jeff Cashman (521 Oak Hill Circle SE., Marietta, GA).  Please RSVP Chris Cashman.

The topic will be home maintenance - monthly maintenance tips. Hope to see you there as it should be a fun and informative evening for all!

Daytime Book Club: Save the date: Nov 13th! 
The Daytime Book Club will meet at  10AM  on  Monday, Nov 13th at  Ellie Lacey's home.   We will discuss " A Piece of the World" by Christina Baker Kline.  If you can join us, please contact Ellie (770-953-3043) by  Friday, Nov. 10 .

Bible Study: Save the date: Nov 9th!
Bible Study Group meets every Thursday at 10:00AM at the Atlanta country Club. We will be studying the "Good News" from the Epistles, teaching important truths to help us live victorious in this life. John 10:10. For more information, call or email  Lettie Nixon (770-953-2066).

Hiking Club: Save the date: Nov 13th!
Attention all Hikers!  Please note the schedule change for the November 13th hike. We will hike the East Palisades Trail along the Chattahoochee River. Come see a Bamboo Forest and check out a beautiful overlook of the river. East Palisades Trail is only about 20 minutes away. Please meet at the ACC at 8am to carpool. Plan on 1-2 hours to hike.

Yoga Interest Group: Save the date: Nov 6th!
Yoga will meet every Monday at 11:30 am this month (Linda Pace's house: 4853 Rivercliffe Dr), with the exception of Nov 20th. It's a Karma class, which means there is no charge. Instead attendees are asked to actively support the charity efforts of the CPWC. Beginners are always welcome in the alignment-based class. Please enter the home via the garage & take the stairs down to the lower level. Email Belinda Vogel for more info or to be put on the mailing list. 

First Friday: Save the date: Nov 3rd!
The next First Friday will be on November 3 at 7:00 PM, at  Melissa Malmberg's Listing  (571 Glen Eagles Circle Marietta, GA 30067). RSVP!

Evening Book Club: Save the date: Nov 28th!
We will be meeting  to discuss "Death in Panama" by William H Venema.  If interested in joining please contact  vcmb@bellsouth.net. 
We do not have an event scheduled for December at the moment.
