Robert L. Anderson, Emeritus Dean of the USF Muma College of Business, passed away on Oct. 31 at the age of 82. He served as dean from 1995 to 2006 and spent 43 years of his career at USF. A memorial service is set for Nov. 26.

The USF School of Hospitality and Tourism Management collaborated with a Brazilian university in a virtual global exchange so food science students could learn about brewing better beer. Dipayan Biswas, the Frank Harvey Endowed Professor of Marketing in the School of Marketing and Innovation, accepted an invitation to be an editor-in-chief of the Journal of Business Research in 2023.
Carl Hadden, regional director of the Florida SBDC at USF, was quoted in a story in the Bradenton Herald about getting in-person help and loans after Hurricane Ian.
