PARKHILL MAIN STREET CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

The new watermain has now been installed from the water reservoir at Parkhill Dr to Elginfield Rd, and a portion of the new watermain has been installed on Elliot Drive between West Park Dr and Elginfield Rd.

The new watermain from Parkhill Dr and Broadway St has been tested and is now operational, with new water services connected to the properties on the east side of the road. The new watermain between Broadway St and Elginfield Rd is installed and is currently being tested.

Once this is done, all water services on both sides of the road between Broadway and Elginfield can be connected to the new watermain, and it will be tied into the side streets. The side street tie-ins will require temporary water interruptions for residents on the side streets, in order to make the connections to the existing watermains, and notices to the residents will be provided in advance to those impacted.

We are currently targeting completion of the project by the end of July.

NORTH MIDDLESEX SPOTLIGHT

JACKIE TIEDEMAN,

WEDDING OFFICIANT

Embarking recently on her retirement, Jackie considered offering her services as a civil wedding officiant after she enjoyed officiating weddings as an employee for the Municipality.

She has since setup her own studio in her home, a beautiful area which serves as a nice backdrop for wedding couples that wish to have a small private ceremony as an alternative to renting a large hall.

Jackie is currently booking services into 2024 and officiates 12 months of the year at her home, different venues, outdoor weddings in the local area and has travelled as far as Norfolk County and the GTA.

She is available for initial consultations by phone or zoom, and after that the sky is the limit for what wedding couples wish to create for their big day.

Jackie Tiedeman, Wedding Officiant

With summer fast approaching, Jackie is looking forward to a busy season!
