“He will also strengthen you to the end, so that you may be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1: 8-9
As many churches begin conferencing over the issues that are now before us, let us remember that the Church of Corinth also had many issues. Issues which the Apostle Paul addressed with encouragement and concern in letters to the Church. Even our founder, John Wesley had issues with the Church of England during the 1700’s that concerned him. Join us this Sunday as we take a look at the Church in Corinth… their issues and what the Paul said to them and also what Paul is saying to us today. And as we begin a New Year, let us remember and pray the prayer compose by John Wesley. See You on Sunday!
Pastor John
Wesley Covenant Prayer
I am no longer my own, but thine. Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering. Let me be employed by thee or laid aside for thee, exalted for thee or brought low for thee. Let me be full, let me be empty. Let me have all things, let me have nothing. I freely and heartily yield all things to thy pleasure and disposal. And now, O glorious and blessed God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit thou art mine, I am thine. So be it. And the covenant which I have made on earth let it be ratified in heaven. Amen

Dear Zion Church Family,
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Hoping for us all a better 2023.
We want to thank our church family for all the cards, calls, visits, food and monetary gifts. Most of all, we want to thank you for all prayers that have been lifted up to God on our behalf. Even though Ryan did not get a good prognosis, we are still praying that if it is God’s will, He will heal him. Ryan has many more things he wants to do before he leaves this earth.
Please know we are praying for our church and the church family. Life is not always easy, but we have faith and know God is in control of everything.
- Love, Ryan and Miriam Griffin
Dear Zion Church, Thank you so much for your kindness to our seniors of Lancaster County.
- Bessie Allen, LCCOA Site Director
Dear Zion Church, With gratitude for the gifts of your kindness and thoughtfulness. Thank you so much
– All of us at Lancaster County Council on Aging.
| Our love and sympathy are extended to the family of Jack Pope in his death on January 8. |
