Message from Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller, MSpS | |
| | As we navigate the challenges of our archdiocese, we must prioritize the Kingdom of God. This means fostering a community where justice, peace, and love prevail. It means creating an inclusive Church where everyone feels valued and heard, reflecting the care and providence of our Heavenly Father. Synodality, a journeying together, requires listening to the diverse voices within our community, especially those on the margins. Inclusiveness ensures that our Church reflects the unity and diversity of the Body of Christ. Spaces for open dialogue, where all members of the community can voice their concerns and insights, should be available to everyone. The programs that specifically address the needs of marginalized groups, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and valued, should be properly cared for. We need to encourage and support those who speak out for justice and truth within our community, ensuring that prophetic voices are not silenced but amplified. We must focus on the primary mission of the Church: proclaiming the Gospel, serving the poor, and fostering communion. Let every recommendation reflect this mission. Together, let us cultivate a culture of trust in God’s providence, encouraging our community to seek first the Kingdom of God in all aspects of life.
