In the heart of our community, where faith and life intersect, the Diocesan Youth Advisors proudly introduce a new initiative that reaches out to embrace our youth and their families. This program is not just about nurturing the athletic and artistic talents of our young parishioners; it’s about meeting people where they are — on the playing fields, in the art studios, and at every performance. With the launch of the diocese’s vibrant One Church "TOGETHER" advertising campaign, we have access to images that reflect the spirit of our churches. These visuals can be customized by the diocese with your church’s website address and can be adapted for various uses, whether it’s a banner at a baseball field or an advertisement in a concert program. Join us in this uplifting endeavor to support the pillars of tomorrow’s church — our youth. Congratulations to Alyce Cooper, St. Stephen's, Harrington; Mimi S. Dupont, St. Martha's, Bethany Beach; Catherine A. Maguire, Calvary Church (Brandywine Collaborative Ministries), Wilmington; and Herb Quick, St. Luke's, Seaford (left to right in above image) as they are the first members of the Episcopal Church in Delaware to complete the SSFM courses for licensing as Lay Preachers. The SSFM is a recent addition to our diocesan offerings to strengthen lay ministry, and you can find more information about the school and the graduates here.

A celebration of these milestones — all are invited
