 The Brooklyn Oratory Parishes

Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Boniface

May 23, 2024

Online giving:

Congratulations to Maureen (Assumption Choir Director) and Brian on their recent wedding at Assumption. We wish them a beautiful life together.

Thank you to all those who came out and supported our picnic. It was truly a joyous day. Special thanks to the grilling team, the set-up and break-down crew, those who shopped and made numerous trips to the hall, the potato salad packers, those who prepared children’s activities, those who baked delicious treats, and those who created a playlist.

Marybeth, Bill and the rest of the committee, we are so grateful to you.

St. Philip Neri Novena

The feast day of St. Philip Neri is Sunday, May 26. Novena booklets are available in both churches. The novena continues through May 25. Let’s prepare for the feast of St. Philip by joining together in a spirit of prayer for the Oratory, our parishes, and all our intentions. You can download a booklet here:

Website Update

As part of upgrading our Oratory Parishes website, we are partnering with DeSales Media, a professional media company, to capture images of our beautiful churches and wonderful parishioners. On Sunday, June 9, DeSales Media photographers will attend our parish masses to photograph both the interior and exterior of our buildings and parishioners. We are thrilled to be working with DeSales Media on this project and are excited to showcase our church community on our updated website. The rain date is Sunday, June 16.
