STRIVE FOR SUCESS

"What is success?
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty;
To find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed
social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived;
That is to have succeeded."

What has been your role with the Reconnecting Youth Coalition?

In the Reconnecting Youth Coalition my role was to help recruit students and get others involved in the true matters of life which take place around all of us in our everyday lives. I help make sure announcements are out for future events and that everyone knew about it using "word of mouth".

What are your future goals?

My future goals are to first finish high school with a 3.5 GPA and get my high school diploma. I am working to achieve great scores on the SAT and ACT so I can be accepted to the college of my choice.  After high school, I plan to attend a 4 year university or college and major either in Computer Engineering or Building Construction Management. As  a backup plan, I plan to go through a bridge program to the university of my choice or go to a technical school then transfer after 2 years to get my bachelors degree. With my degree I plan to design homes, but I always wanted to help the ones who have been hit by disasters or are in an economic down fall. With an degree in computer engineering,  I plan to help make things in technology that will help make life needs more manageable.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time I try to stay involved in various activities and hanging out with my friends. I'm always applying myself to new things to challenge myself and increase my knowledge. I enjoy hanging with my friends because there is always something going on and there is never a dull moment with them.
