UAlbany's Research Highlighted at NYS Capitol


On March 26, the University showcased the regional and statewide impact of its research through an exhibit at the New York State Capitol that featured The RNA Institute; the College of Nanotechnology, Science and Engineering; Atmospheric Sciences; and AI Plus, UAlbany’s holistic approach to integrating teaching and learning about AI throughout academic and research programs. Visitors to the exhibit included New York State legislators and staffers, many of whom are UAlbany alumni, as well as state agency staff and members of the public.

Public service runs in the family... Congratulations to recent UAlbany grad Molly Mann on receiving the President's Award for Leadership in Community Service during a ceremony at UAlbany on Saturday, April 13. Molly is the daughter of Steve and Meg Mann of Rensselaer. Steve, a UAlbany alum himself, is Sen. Chuck Schumer's deputy state director.

In step... The Marching Great Danes & UAlbany Spirit Band and the Albany High School Marching Falcons performed side by side during Albany's St. Patrick's Day parade on Saturday, March 16.
