September Greetings

Now that the school year is underway and schedules are busier than ever, making math a priority is critical so your child continues developing the skills and confidence needed to excel.

Whether they are faced with difficult new concepts that require extra attention or are ready for more challenging material, our expert team of instructors is here to make math fun and engaging so your child can achieve their goals.

We look forward to helping make this a successful year. We're always here to answer questions and discuss your child's progress. The next time you're here at the center, let's chat.

Our September calendar is below and the much anticipated GAME TRUCK will be here as a fun reward for our hard-working students THIS THURSDAY from 5:00-7:00pm. If you would like for your child to participate, please allow extra time for this fun activity this week.

Mathnasium CEO, Mike Davis, joined News Nation Now to discuss this concerning drop and how the pandemic has affected math learning for most students. Click the button below to watch the full interview and hear what he had to say.

Math In Nature: Peacocks

Did you know that peacocks are math-y? It's true! One of the most beautiful displays in nature is when a peacock shows its array of iridescent feathers, known as the "train." Not only do these feathers develop in uniform repeating patterns, but they contribute to the overall bilateral symmetry of this impressive bird. If you were to draw a line down the middle of their large bodies, the left sides would be mirror images of the right. Isn't math in nature awe-inspiring?
