Q: How often do you review our investments?

A: In nearly every case, we manage money using risk-based investment models. By using models, we can pay greater attention to the holdings in the model. Many of you have the same holdings, with the percentage allocated to each varying according to your specific goals and timeframe. If a change is appropriate, we can make that change in each model and greatly streamline the process.
This approach also facilitates changes between models. For many reasons, it may be appropriate to change the model that we are using for a client, and those adjustments are very straightforward.
We review our models at least once per quarter, though informal review and consideration happens frequently. We partner with Commonwealth and investment firms to review and benchmark our models as well.
