One new yarn this year is Spirit. Spirit, at first glance, looks like a standard mohair but it's something very different. It's a wool, silk, and cashmere blend that gives you the soft halo of mohair but with a different, merino-soft quality. Perfect for next to the skin pieces and garments of all types.

Milos is a luxurious Cashmere/Cotton blend. You get the breathability of cotton with the softness of cashmere in this worsted weight yarn you're sure to love.

The two fibers in one yarn gives this a marled look that is very on trend!

Teddy Bear is a fun, Alpaca based boucle yarn. This yarn solves the issue many have with boucle, in that it's designed to be knit on larger needles so they never get snagged in the boucle loops!

Cheerleader is another Alpaca based yarn. It works up as a heavy worsted and comes with a touch of bling, courtesy of the sequins woven into the yarn. Use it for almost anything!

Meet Atenti - Saturday October 1!

We're very excited to announce the designers of Atenti, one of our favorite bag manufacturers, will be here on Saturday, October 1st! Put this on your calendar. They'll be bringing a bunch of beautiful bags. We'll also get them to tell us about the history of the company and how they create these beautiful bags.

Founded in 1990, Atenti's aesthetic is inspired by the vibrancy and spirit of Andrea’s hometown of Buenos Aires. Eventually daughter Nina was added to the design mix. Now, together, they work with materials sourced from U.S. mills and throughout the world. Fresh shapes and daring blends of fabrics and handmade embellishments are harmonized to evoke each season’s design moments. 

All products are lovingly handmade in the USA.

We will learn knitting in the round, working with circular and double point needles, decreases, and making a pom pom. This class will provide all of the skills to make the Ball & Skein Basic Beanie hat, a shop favorite!

A Trip to Uruguay!
