As misinformation around elections runs rampant, it was important for my team and me to create this newsletter as a trusted source of factual election policies, procedures, and important updates. This June, unaffiliated voters will receive two ballots for the upcoming State Primary Election: one for candidates in each major party. Please only fill out ONE ballot; otherwise, both ballots will be canceled. Click below to learn more

Did you know that you can track your ballot through the counting process? When you enroll in BallotTrax, you will get updates on the status of your ballot as it's status changes.

Beginning on July 1, recording service fees will be increased as a result of new legislation. Click the link below to submit any questions on this change and our office will get in touch with the most accurate information.

Earlier this month, Clerk Paul D. López and Chief Deputy City Clerk, Andy Szekeres, presented on a bill aiming to improve campaign finance transparency and accountability to the City Council's Finance and Governance Committee. The bill passed the committee with a unanimous vote and will be voted on by the full Council later this month. Click below to see the full City Council presentation.

Clerk Paul López recently spoke at the 2024 Colorado AFL-CIO COPE Convention to over 170 members. He spoke on combating misinformation this presidential election year, the importance of being civically engaged, and an overall look at the 2024 election process.
