Happy Anniversary!

On August 12th, we celebrated Olivia Jamison’s 5th anniversary with SCG!

Olivia is a Senior Accountant in our A&A & Tax Departments.

On August 14th, we celebrated Caroline Fox’s 1st anniversary with SCG!

Caroline is a Staff Accountant in our Tax Department.  

On August 20th, we celebrated Stephen Conyers’ 23rd anniversary with SCG!



Stephen is a Principal and manages the quality control in our A&A Department.

Thank you all for your continued dedication and hard work!

Intern Farewell

On Thursday, August 15th, we bid farewell to our 2024 Summer Interns: Aidan Mulcahy, Bryce Franklin, Drew Lawrence, Emma Guerin, Tommy Smith, Sophia White, and Vito Genovesio.

On Tuesday, we had a delicious luncheon for their presentation, and on Thursday, we gathered to enjoy a yummy cake and to present each intern with a small gift and an Amazon gift card with our gratitude! That evening, we celebrated with them one final time at a Wilmington Blue Rocks game! We appreciate their hard work during their internships and hope they found their time with our firm rewarding.

We measure the success of our internship program when our interns report that, after completing two months with us, they now have a real-life understanding of what it’s like to work in a local CPA firm.

Best wishes to each of them in their future endeavors!

51st DCA Crab Feast

On Thursday, August 1st, several members our team attended the Delaware Contractors Association’s 51st Annual Crab Feast at Frightland in Middletown, Delaware.

Even though there was a terrible wind storm the day before, the weather that day was nice, and the event was spectacular as usual!

Everyone had a great time, and we can’t wait for next year!!
