CKF Navigator Retreat

The CKF Retreat 2023 theme of a marathon reflected the current state of affairs for all Hoosiers involved with healthcare coverage programs. The Unwinding and Return to Normal Operations is “not a sprint, but a marathon”. Nearly 100 "runners" gathered at the Embassy Suites in Plainfield for three days of training, networking, sharing, and planning including several hours of DEI focused activities. This great team (pictured below) are committed to a strong second half of the marathon keeping Hoosiers covered.
U.S. Census Bureau Insurance Coverage and Poverty Data

Twenty-seven states had a higher percentage of people with health insurance coverage in 2022 than in 2021 according to American Community Survey (ACS) 1-year estimates released today by the U.S. Census Bureau. Indiana was one of 13 states where the gain in coverage was due to public coverage increases between 2021 and 2022.

There was an increase in the poverty rate for those age 65 and over in Indiana yet the percentage of households that received Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits in Indiana decreased.
