New Consumers Alert

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel has issued a new consumer alert to notify small business owners about the new federal Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), which will impact millions of small businesses. Knowing what the legislation requires will help businesses comply with the law and avoid scammers who may try to steal personal or corporate information under the guise of offering assistance.

Petoskey Visitor Guide

Every year our Petoskey Area Visitors Guide just keeps getting better and better! We find our Visitors Guide to be a very user-friendly reference, making it easy for the visitor to find just what they are looking for. Our 2024/25 edition of this information-packed publication will contain even more information that is of interest to the visitor.

As you know, the Chamber assists thousands of visitors every year as they make decisions on dining, shopping, accommodations, entertainment and recreation. To get your message in front of this audience, we invite you to place an advertisement in the Petoskey Area Visitors Guide. The publication is distributed at the Chamber, at hotels and outlets throughout the region and at MDOT Welcome Centers throughout the state.

The Visitors Guide is a valuable tool for the Chamber year-round as we work to promote your business and our region. This full-color, top quality publication is another benefit of your Chamber membership, with only Chamber members having the option to participate with an advertisement. In addition to the 20,000 high quality print copies of the Visitors Guide, we also produce an interactive digital edition, which receives over 150,000 views annually. There are two digital options available to you:

We partner with local business and long-time Chamber member Harbor House Publishers on the Petoskey Area Visitors Guide. When Diane Gemmell, Account Manager for Harbor House, calls on you, we encourage you to speak with her so you can learn how the Visitors Guide can showcase your business.
