We need your help! We are going to shower the teachers at our partner school, Wakefield Elementary, with sweet treats and candy for Teacher Appreciation Week next week. Walking the Mourner’s Path is an in-person grief group for anyone who has suffered a significant loss and would like to process it in a group setting. Led by Rev. Belinda Price and Kathy Roberts, it is Christ-centered, scripturally and spiritually based. Through the 8-week program on Mondays, June 3-July 22, 6:00-8:00PM, mourners learn ways to honor their loved ones, seek spiritual direction, and discover God’s promise of comfort in the community!

We are collaborating with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Arkansas Geriatric Education Collaborative (AGEC), UAMS Health ARConnectNow, the American Red Cross, the Alzheimer’s Association, Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) and Edward Jones to present a FREE community event on “Disaster Preparedness for older adults!"

This event will inform older adults about disaster preparedness and the various resources available. Free blood sugar and blood pressure screenings will be available, as well as hands only CPR!

Come and be a part of the best night of the year at Primetimers and Youth Bingo on Sunday, May 5th from 5:30-7:15PM in Wesley Hall!

All 8th-12th grade youth and Primetimers are welcome! We'll play bingo for amazing prizes, have meaningful conversations, and have dinner together in fellowship!

Thanks to you, we were able to donate 469 eclipse glasses to Astronomers Without Borders to be used by children looking at the next solar eclipse!
