We have two small group opportunities for young adults this fall on Monday evenings at 6pm:

1. For ages 27-40: Rev. Kathleen McMurray will lead a group for 10 weeks (Sept. 16th - Nov. 18th) that will continually ask this hard question: How is it with your soul?

2. For ages 26 and under: Adulting is hard, but it is a lot easier when you have community! Join Rev. Jay and Karen Clark for a time of small group community for 5 weeks (Oct. 21 - Nov. 18th).

Want to play mahjong? Whether you're a seasoned veteran or a new player, come play with friends at Pulaski Heights UMC! We are in need of more tutors for our award-winning Wakefield Elementary Ministry! Tutors will have an orientation in mid-September led by reading specialist Brandy Cimino.

Tutors meet once a week with individual students. Tutors can be assigned on their chosen day and time period, as well as choosing the grade level of students that best suits them. Prospective tutors will need to fill out a LRSD VIPS form. We have received a request for feminine hygiene products from the Pulaski County Detention Center: CSI Women’s Re-entry Division Unit. We are collecting donations until September 13th. Yesterday our Food Pantry received a check from the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance. Rep. Tippi McCullough selected our food pantry as her district's recipient as a part of the Alliance's annual fundraiser, Serving up Solutions. We are so grateful for this partnership with the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance as well as our continued partnership with the Arkansas Foodbank. Together we are working to alleviate hunger in Central Arkansas!
