Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church is discerning new and emerging opportunities the Holy Spirit might be inviting us to step into as we continue to Inspire Love, Embrace Christ, and Engage the World.

When the Children's Learning Center (CLC) closed earlier this year, it opened the opportunity for us to discern and dream about how the space that had been used as the daycare and after-school programs could continue to be a space that serves our neighbors in Hillcrest and across Central Arkansas in a meaningful, missional way. While some of the space will continue to be utilized by Children's Ministry for Sunday morning and special programs, some of the space can also be repurposed for other uses. 

We invite you to complete the survey linked below to provide your feedback to help us dream about how to use the previous CLC spaces in new and creative ways. This, along with feedback from the community, will be used to develop recommendations to our church Board of Trustees. Please add your voice by filling out the survey below. The survey will close on Tuesday, October 1st.

Primetimers and friends, join us on Thursday, September 12, as we visit the Country Village in Star City. We'll depart from the church at 2:45pm and arrive in Star City around 4:00. We'll shop at their marketplace, antique shop, and bakery. Then we'll eat dinner from 5:00-6:00pm at the Catfish and Seafood Restaurant. It’s that time of year! The Razorbacks are going to be playing at War Memorial Stadium on Thursday, August 29! PHUMC will open our parking lot for the game. We are allowing people to reserve your spot for $40. We will also be selling parking spots on the day of the game! All proceeds will go to PHUMC Youth Missions.

Our Guatemalan surgery team has returned! They had a great week working alongside Project Salud Y Paz. They performed numerous surgeries and provided needed care to patients at El Buen Samaritano Hospital in Chichicastenango. We are so proud of their incredible efforts!

Our Diaper Bank had another wonderful distribution day on August 7. We gave out 13,570 diapers and even had 18 new families! Thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers for making this happen!
