"God's Time"

IWA's 43rd Kairos Retreat

On February 1-3, 2023, one half of the Class of 2023 participated in a three-day retreat known as Kairos (the other half of the class experienced the retreat in the fall.) The off-campus retreat was led by a team of students and faculty and staff members who shared reflections, led meditations, and guided small group discussions about: identity, spirituality, and personal growth. "Learning how to be vulnerable at this retreat helped me to grow in many ways. It made me realize how grateful I am for the love and support I have in my life," senior leader, Bailey Dahl, shared.

At the end of Kairos, retreatants received necklaces that symbolize their shared journey and how they have come closer to God. They are encouraged to "Live the Fourth," which means to live out the promises made on the final day of the retreat by continuing to serve others.

The

Red & Gold Gala

Join us in celebrating Incarnate Word Academy's 90th Anniversary at the 2023 IWA Annual Dinner Auction, The Red & Gold Gala, presented by Kevin Beckmann Charitable Trust, on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 5:00-11:00 pm.

Ways to support the auction:

Donate an item: The auction still needs items for our live and silent auction, including trips, experiences, tickets to sporting or arts events, St. Louis attractions (passes or memberships), restaurant gift certificates, golf outings, luxury items, and unique IWA themed items. You can also check out our Amazon Wish List for additional donation ideas.

Place an ad in the auction catalog: There are several advertising opportunities available, ranging from $50 to $300. Advertisements can be a business ad or Red Knight tribute ad. Business Ads are a great way to show your support for Incarnate Word Academy and promote your business. Red Knight Tribute Ads may be purchased to honor a current or past Red Knight and may include photos of alums, current students, and IWA friends and family. Senior student families may purchase a tribute ad for a special discounted rate.

Become a sponsor: Each year the families and businesses that sponsor the auction make an even greater impact on our students. There are multiple levels, ranging from $500 to $25,000, that allow you to select the best fit for you or your business.

Attend the auction: Join us for our largest, annual fundraising event and one of the most anticipated social events of the year for our IWA community. Tickets are $100/person or $900/table of 10 people.

Volunteer: If you are interested in volunteering for the auction, we would love to have your assistance. Please sign up by contacting Allison Oberkirsch '07 at aoberkirsch@iwacademy.org
