On tactics to fight mis- and disinformation in Spanish-speaking communities

"I'm living in Miami, Florida and South Florida. And we have, for example, this phenomenon with radio shows, and commentators spreading a lot of this [mis] information. And we understand that we have to do different things and approaches [to respond]. ... We [create] explainers with videos [and deliver them] on the same social media platform that they share content with their families. … We have to prepare [misinformation and debunking] tools for journalists [covering those] communities. And debunk the images."

Legal Update: New FTC ruling bans non-compete clauses

"The [Federal Trade Commission] says the banning of non-compete clauses will see the creation of more than 8,500 new businesses a year. It will also increase worker pay, lower healthcare costs, and lead to tens of thousands of new patents. ... Existing noncompetes for employees will not be enforceable after the effective date, which is 120 days after the rule has been published in the Federal Register. Senior-level executives, however, will still be subject to the non-compete clause they may have signed, but the company can’t create a new non-compete or modify the current one."
