WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Assist phone customers, catering customers, in-store lunch customers and in-store retail customers, providing excellent service in a friendly and polite manner. Respond positively to customer requests or comments.
Assist with food preparation, including lunch, catering and retail ham and turkey.
Demonstrate superior product knowledge and effectively articulate product features and benefits. Drive add-on sales through suggestion selling.
Maintain store cleanliness and merchandising standards.
Take initiative and remains productive throughout entire shift and takes responsibility for activities within his/her control.
Consistently follow all processes and procedures and comply with company standards in all areas, from service to food preparation and control. Adhere to our safety, security and respectful workplace policies and procedures.
YOUR TRACK RECORD:
Good communication skills and attention to detail. Prior customer service or food preparation experience preferred - experience as a cook, cashier, crew member, sales associate or store associate is a big plus!

MEMBER NEWS
The Friends of the Aurora Memorial Library are sponsoring an April Food Drive to benefit community members served by the Volunteers of America Food Pantry in Aurora, OH.

Beginning Friday, April 2, 2021, non-perishable food and personal hygiene items can be deposited in the donation bins located in the lobby of the library.

The Aurora Memorial Library is open:

Mon. & Tues., 11 am – 7 pm
Wed. & Fri., 10 am - 6 pm
Sat., 9 am – 5 pm.
closed Thurs. & Sun.

When selecting items to donate, please check expiration dates. Items with dates that have passed should not be donated.

At this time, the needs of community members have increased. The VOA Food Pantry needs non-perishable food items such as, fruit cups, snack bars, cereal, rice, and canned goods. Personal hygiene items include antibacterial hand soap, hand sanitizer, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, baby wipes, facial tissue, and bathroom tissue.

The Portage County Safety Council FY21 Virtual Safety Council program meets on Zoom every 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month (except for the holidays), 11:00am-12:00pm.
