So why should we promote Kiwanis? For me, it’s because of the variety of ways, through all age groups, that we can have an impact on a child's life.

PREPARATIONS CONTINUE FOR A NEW YEAR
With less than 30 days until the start of the new Kiwanis year, club leaders should be counting down on the checklist items for next year preparation.
If your club is one of the 52 clubs that has not reported officers for the 2023-2024 year, please do so immediately. Club secretaries do that reporting through the Kiwanis online secretary dashboard. Even if officers remain the same this coming year, they need to be reported so that division, district and international leaders have a complete list.
As a reminder for membership renewal invoicing, Kiwanis International dues and fees for the coming year are $82. (52, dues; $8, Kiwanis magazine/publications; $18, member liability insurance; $4, directors and officers insurance) Nebraska-Iowa District dues are $40. The combined total dues and fees are $122. Clubs may also have a fee they charge per member.
REMINDER: Sept. 30 is the final day to enter a new member for 2022-2023. Oct. 10 is the final day to remove members who will not be renewing for 2023-2024. Kiwanis International will bill renewals based upon the clubs' Oct. 11 rosters.
