I apologize that my ezine came out over the weekend. It's a Tuesday publication but I did this one early and the team misunderstood when I wanted it delivered.

In case it is "lost in your inbox," I decided to re-send it

Coaching is very satusfying for me.

Some people I am coaching come to me to help guide them through their job search; some want coaching to help them with their small business. Yet others see me as someone who can achieve their aspirations in life and their work.

I recorded three podcasts this week. The one that went live yesterday ("Job Search Radio" is also available in iTunes, Sttcher and others) was with someone who I coached through their job search. For those of you who think of me as an IT search person, you'll be surprised to see that I worked extremely effectively with an editor who is well known  in his specialty and for his two books. He had no success in his search until we started working with one another.

And, soon after, everything started to click for him.

If you would like me to coach you in your job search (not function as a headhunter, be be your coach, guiding you through your search, answering your questions, supporting you with no vested interest other than your best interest (no firm will pay me; I am your agent), click the link here.

There will be additional $150 one time cost if you want me to critique your 1-3 page resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile; you'll see that is a large reduction from what I charge non-subscribers ($300). That charge is only available for people I coach.

This discounted price will not last long. If you visit my website, you see I usually charge $750 for 4 sessions . . . and people have been paying it for years. People also pay $199 for one 30 minute session to have their questions answered

I hope you take me up on this offer.

Job Search Radio - How to Use Branding and Uncommon Sense to Get Your First Job, Last Job, and Every Job in Between.

I was introduced to Richard Lewis at the end of last year and was taken by the story of Jennifer, the person who is at the crux of his book, " Why Hire Jennifer."
As the former US brand manager for Absolut during its launch in the US, Richard has a great story to tell about branding yourself for job hunting and how it can come from some of the most unusual places.

Also in iTunes, Stitcher and others.

Please give Job Search Radio a great review in iTunes and subscribe.

The Job Market: December 2015

Since its inception in August 2001, when I would do the report, I would list the current month, rather than the month the report referred to.

With this one, I am changing to refer to the month the government and ADP are reporting on.
