Dear ILS Members,

This past week, many of our members had an opportunity to participate in a very interesting Art and Tax Joint Conference co-hosted by TTN and the ILS Tax Committee. We had a great turnout, excellent speakers and an enjoyable tour of the Rubell Museum. Special thanks to our Tax Committee Chair, Jeff Hagen, for spearheading this remarkable event.

I’m pleased to announce that we are hosting another Lunch & Learn featuring prominent international litigator Raquel (Rocky) Rodriguez on May 28 at 12 pm at Buchanan in Miami. Please see more details below and be sure to rsvp with Liz Hockensmith (ehockensmith@floridabar.org).

We have a number of other exciting events taking place this month and next, including our Marlins Game on May 22, the ILS Chair’s Reception and Annual Meeting in Orlando on June 20-21, the Inter-American Bar Conference in Miami on June 17-20 and the Leaders League Alliance Summit in Miami on June 25.

We’re grateful to be able to collaborate with so many of these incredible international organizations to help continue promoting the practice of international law and the rule of law around the world. There’s so many other amazing events and opportunities allowing our members to work, collaborate and network with our friends and fellow practitioners from all over the globe.
