Our largest fundraiser of the year is less than 30 days away,
and we need your support!
The New York City Fire Museum's 4th Annual Golf Outing will take place on June 20, 2024, at the prestigious Muttontown Club. This event is crucial for our mission of preserving and interpreting the history of firefighting in New York City. Your support allows us to care for one of the most significant fire memorabilia collections in the United States and to educate thousands of visitors each year on fire safety.
This year's Golf Outing honorees are WABC-7 and the FDNY Pipes and Drums. Both organizations deeply embody New York City Fire Museum’s mission to preserve and showcase the history and cultural heritage of the city's fire service, alongside educating the public, particularly children, on fire prevention and safety.
The New York City Fire Museum recognizes the WABC team for their outstanding work in developing impactful public service campaigns that have provided a vital platform for fire and life safety experts. Noteworthy among these initiatives is the highly successful Operation 7 Save A Life program, which has significantly improved public safety for over 25 years. Through collaboration with WABC, the New York City Fire Museum ensures that essential fire safety messages reach a broad audience, potentially saving lives and property, all while honoring the brave efforts of our city's first responders.
In addition, we celebrate the FDNY Pipes and Drums, a respected and cherished symbol of the New York City Fire Department. The band's legacy, significant history, and contributions to the Department, as well as the City and beyond, are truly commendable. Their committed members epitomize the finest qualities of New York and the FDNY.
