Endowed Scholarships for Returning Undergraduate Students
Applications accepted until Sunday, March 31
Marist College Endowed Scholarships and Outside Scholarships are great potential resources to help offset educational expenses.
Traditional undergraduate students are invited to apply for Endowed Scholarship opportunities each spring for awards in the following academic year. A FAFSA on file for the upcoming academic year is required to be considered for any need-based endowed scholarships.
Students can view the criteria and apply by visiting marist.edu/endowed-scholarships.

Tickets for the 2024 Spring Concert are now available on Hometown Tickets through Thursday, March 21. Students will be able to buy tickets at the door.
Student Tickets: $15
Non-Marist Guest Tickets: $25
(2 guests allowed per Marist student)

Room Selection Process
Roommate/Single Group Forms:
Roommate and Single Group forms will be collected through the housing portal. Students can access this step in the process starting on March 20 - March 27, 2024.
Room Selection:
Room Selection will take place over 2 separate weeks in April. Dates will be posted on myMarist once confirmed.
Withdrawal Information:
Students who are graduating, studying abroad, moving off campus, or departing campus for any other reason must submit a housing withdrawal form as soon as possible.
Students who submit a deposit, but then choose to move off campus must submit a withdrawal form.
- Students who deposit but then withdraw will receive a 100% refund of the deposit if the withdraw is received by April 2, 2024.
- Students who deposit bbut withdraw after April 2, 2024 but before May 31, 2024 will receive a 50% refund.

Accessibility in the Real World Alumni Panel

The panel will feature alumni with various learning, emotional, and physical disabilities talking about their experiences around researching companies, applying for jobs, interviewing, and seeking accommodations in the workplace - and the challenges and best practices around those. The finalized panelists are Dana Jones '20, Harry Hazelton '23, Shaneka Paulin '02, and Joie Morrissey '19.

The Marist College Center for Career Services and Academic Learning Center have set up a Career Closet for all Marist students. Students can stop by to get FREE workplace attire including blazers, shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, and more clothing in various sizes.

Math Lab
The Math Lab is a peer help/tutoring center staffed entirely by student tutors, located in Hancock Center Room 3021.
Students may drop in without an appointment to seek assistance with certain mathematics courses.
The Math Lab staff can provide assistance with the following courses:
- MATH 108 Intermediate Algebra
- MATH 115 Calculus with Management Applications
- MATH 120 Precalculus
- MATH 241 Calculus I
- MATH 242 Calculus II

Writing Center
The Marist Writing Center is another resource that offers free, one-on-one tutoring sessions to anyone in the Marist College community. They work with writers at any stage of the writing process and can help whether you are on your first or final draft.
Students can visit the site to learn more and schedule appointments.

Academic Learning Center
The Academic Learning Center hosts a variety of programs to assist students, all at no additional cost:
Academic Review and Drop-In Sessions:
- The Academic Learning Center sponsors review and drop-in sessions in various subjects for students in need of help.
- Available in fall and spring semesters.
Private Tutoring:
- The Academic Learning Center trains and assigns peer tutors for students in need of individualized help.
- Available in fall, spring, winter, and summer semesters.
Proofreading:
- The goal of the proofreading program is to provide free proofreading services to the Marist community. Trained writing tutors will review student papers during staffed proofreading hours in the Academic Learning Center or online.
Drop-In Proofreading:
- A trained proofreader will be ready and waiting to proofread a student's paper for grammar and clarity. Students are served on a first-come, first-served basis.
- An appointment is needed for papers that are 10 or more pages in length. Please contact the Academic Learning Center directly to make an appointment.
- Hours:
- Monday-Friday |11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. | The Academic Learning Center (LB 331)
- Monday-Thursday | 7:00-9:00 p.m. | 3rd Floor Library Resource Center
- Available in fall and spring semesters.
On-Line Proofreading:
- Students should visit Brightspace.marist.edu and log in using their Marist account and password.
- Available in fall, spring, winter, and summer semesters.
Academic Learning Center Brightspace Site:
- For quick tips on time-management, study skills, citations, writing & notetaking, etc., students can join this site through their Brightspace Membership tab.

Counseling Services
Counseling Services is located in the heart of campus on the first floor of Midrise. Dedicated to campus wellness, they provide:
- Short-term, goal-focused, biweekly counseling
- Referrals to weekly, long-term and specialized options off campus or close to home
- Weekly groups and workshops
- Education and Trainings
- Medication Evaluation and Management
- Crisis Response

Let's Talk:
Let's Talk is a drop-in service with a counselor. This service is confidential, and no appointment or paperwork is necessary.
Open to ALL students, and best used for problem solving, goal setting, or general questions about our services. Please note: Let's Talk is not formal therapy or for emergencies - please call our office!

Intro to Mindfulness:
Students are invited to join a four-week Intro to Mindfulness class to gain practical skills and enhance their overall well being.
The four-week class will begin on Wednesday, February 7. View the flyer here for future class dates and registration information.
Self-Care Drop In:
Self-Care Drop In hours are on Mondays from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. in MidRise 113. Led by undergraduate interns, students can learn mindfulness and self-care skills in a low-key and fun support space.

A DBT-based skills group to learn mindfulness, how to regulate your emotions, and communicate and connect more effectively. Fore more information click here.
Sanctuary:
