Joseph O'Connor

Joseph is the Foundation's Civic Education Specialist.

What do you do?

As a member of the Foundation’s civics team, I am responsible for the We the People Program.

Favorite Hobbies

Chess, auto-racing, pick-up sports, disc golf, trivia, concerts, and instruments.

Favorite Movies

Most Nolan and Tarantino movies. Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead for comedy.

Favorite Foods

I enjoy making stir fry, burgers, and attempting to make international foods. My favorite restaurant is Bucca di Beppo.

Favorite TV Shows

JJeopardy, IASIP, Chernobyl, 11.22.63.

Family Tradition

Our favorite vacation tradition was a trip to Holiday World to ride the coasters and, more importantly, see the Holidog, who directly contributed to my love of Beagles.

Favorite Sports/Teams

Tottenham Hotspar, Indiana Hoosiers, and Indianapolis teams.

A Little More...

My brother, two sisters, and I grew up on the north side of Indianapolis. I attended Indiana University to study Law and Public Policy, graduating in 2019, and began at the Foundation in 2020. It is fantastic to see the organizational growth and accomplishments in my relatively short time at the Foundation.
