Get to Know.....

Michael Tranovich

Michael is the Foundation's Finance and IOLTA Manager.

On Being With the Foundation for 24 Years

I remember when the first IOLTA remittance arrived in October of 1999. More than $20 million later, it continues to be a privilege to administer the IOLTA program. The Foundation has grown significantly in my tenure, and I am impressed with the quality of the current Foundation staff.

Favorite Sports Teams

Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Phillies, and Washington Capitals.

Favorite Foods

Salmon, mac and cheese, ham and eggs, Cool Ranch Doritos, Diet Coke, and Diet Pepsi.

Outside the Office

Playing solitaire, following the stock market, and helping at home.

Guiding Principles

Spirituality and efficiency, "friends in high places," and getting work done well and timely. Also, don't expect more than you are willing to give.

A Little More...

I am originally from Eastern Pennsylvania and grew up outside of Washington, D.C. I have degrees in Chemistry from Purdue and the University of Arizona. When the opportunity arose in July 1999 to take my career in a different direction, I accepted the challenge. I have come to believe that I was meant to be Indiana’s first, and to date only, IOLTA manager. I qualified for Mensa in 2000 and I enjoy the annual Foundation audits. The Foundation's annual audits have always received unmodified opinions, the highest opinions that can be received.
