Joey Yap's 2017 Feng Shui and Astrology Seminar

I attended the Joey Yap 2017 Year of the Rooster, Feng Shui and Astrology Event in New York at the end of October. 



I stayed with my Airbnb host Jason Seitz in the unicorn headdress pictured above.  He was welcoming and gracious and made our trip to New York enjoyable during the off hours from the main event. It was close to Halloween, and he dubbed me Queen by bestowing his authentic limited edition King Joffrey gold crown (from the TV show Game of Thrones) upon my head.

I really feel blessed to be part of a great Feng Shui community of such awesome people. It is always exciting to see how each person has grown from taking Joey Yap's Mastery Academy courses throughout the years. 



One of my clients, Vy Nguyen, made the trip to Joey's event all the way from Utah. She just really wanted to have a chance to meet Joey. This was her first time attending his seminar. I was happy she made the trip out to New York for Joey's FSA seminar, despite her just moving to Utah. I was able to spend time with her during the two-day event.  


I always feel a sense of satisfaction after finishing a talk with a group, completing a workshop, or having a one on one meeting with Chamber of Commerce member. I feel a sense of accomplishment in sparking their interest in Chinese Metaphysics. I truly believe that anyone who practices this art will benefit from it.  
The Switch during the 2016 US Presidential Election 

During the New York Feng Shui and Astrology event in October, Joey Yap had predicted that Donald Trump might win because the Qi in the 2016 Monkey year had many clashes in the BaZi chart that results in a last minute switch. Feng Shui consultants predict what might happen during the year using BaZi charts. Birth charts of a person are also used.
 
Ze Ri date selection is used to find the best day for a client to perform an activity with success, If the BaZi chart of a person's day pillar combines with the Day Pillar of the day's chart, that person will have all the benefits of the good stars of that day. The BaZi chart for 2016 indicates that the elements of Fire and Metal are dominant.  This causes fear and irrational thinking. He predicted Trump would win the presidency a few weeks before Election Day.
 
The presidential campaigns between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were dramatic, shocking, and unexpected. The day of the election, you could see the last minute switch that Joey said might happen.  Everyone seemed to think Hillary would win as her campaign staff even bought champagne on election night, assuming she would win and become the first female president.
 
Donald Trump was able to get the 270 electoral votes that were needed in order to win. Trump's stunning win will go down in history as the most surprising Presidential victory. President-Elect Trump, an individual who had no prior political, military, or government experience is to ascend to the highest position of power in the US government and internationally is remarkable as it is baffling. 
Tump's BaZi birth chart versus the Election Day Chart 
 
As a Feng Shui consultant, I belong to several student networks. One of my teachers explained how Trump won. I think Sherry Merchant gave the best metaphysical explanation by looking at his BaZi Chart. His month pillar was exactly the same as the day pillar of the Election Day. 

His month pillar, Jia Wu was exactly the same as the day pillar of Election Day. Also, his day pillar Ji Wei combined with the day pillar of the day. In date selection that means all the beneficial stars would be in his favor. 

When your day pillar combines with the day pillar of the day, all the good stars of the day would be in the person's favor. They will get all the benefits of the stars that day.

Donald Trump's Birth Chart 


At my weekly Toastmaster's United We Speak club meeting, Jared Ines delivered his speech entitled "How Trump Won," where be explained why Clinton lost. There were several reasons:
 

1.   She did not convince all of Obama's coalition that voted for Obama during his presidential campaign, to vote for her.


 

2.   The majority of the millennials did not vote for her.


 

3.   She only got 65% of the Latino vote.


 

4.   Despite the 13 women who said they were sexually assaulted by Trump, he received a significant amount of Caucasian women's votes.


 

5.   African Americans voted for Trump despite his role in the Central Park 5 and Birth Certificate movement against Obama.
