Applications for CLC

Extended to 5/14

The Conservation Leadership Corps application period has been extended to Sunday, May 14. CLC is a multi-year leadership development program for juniors and seniors in high school and college students. The program will start in the fall. We invite students in their sophomore year of high school through sophomore year in college to apply. To learn more about CLC and to apply, click HERE. RAWA Reintroduced

in Senate

Recovering America's Wildlife Act has been reintroduced to the U.S. Senate. RAWA would provide unprecedented funding to state and tribal land management agencies. RAWA now has 10 bipartisan cosponsors, and will likely move to the House soon! To learn more information about the bill and how to contact your Senators and Representatives, visit our website HERE. Missouri Legislative Session

Ends Today

This year’s session ends on Friday, May 12 at 6:00 p.m. Thank you to all those that signed up for our LAC and engaged your representatives and senators. Because of you, we were able to defeat numerous pieces of harmful legislation. MDC Updates

MDC's Elk and Bear Permit Lotteries are now open until the end of May. Winners of the lottery will be announced by July 1st. Visit MDC's website HERE to purchase your chance for a permit.

MDC is looking for experienced birders to help with their annual Bird Breading Survey. Volunteers must be able to identify local birds by sight and sound. MDC needs one volunteer for each of the following counties: Barry, Cole, Dunklin, Sullivan, Gasconade, and Osage. If you are interested, visit MDC's website HERE for more information!
