Legislative Session Ends

Next Week

As Missouri's Legislative session is coming to an end next Friday, we wanted to look back and highlight some of the work CFM did this year at the Capitol. CFM testified at Committee Hearings numerous times this year, including on the Cease the Sale Bill, Clean Water Bill, and more. We hosted our annual Conservation Day at the Capitol on April 3, where we had many affiliates present, and Liberty, a Bald Eagle from World Bird Sanctuary. We utilized our Action Alerts through out Legislative Action Center, which helped put citizens in contact with their legislators on important proposed Missouri legislation. MDC Announces Turkey Harvest Numbers and More!

Missouri Department of Conservation announced that 43,380 birds were harvested during the Spring season dates of April 15 through May 5. An additional 3,739 turkeys were harvested during the Youth Season. To read the whole press release, visit MDC website HERE.
