CFM is excited to announce that we are accepting applications for new students in our premier youth education program, the Conservation Leadership Corp. CLC is open to high school and college students who are interested in the outdoors, and would like to develop their leadership and other professionals skills. The application deadline is April 30th. We need your voice to oppose House Joint Resolution (HJR) 125, which threatens Missouri's long-standing conservation model. A hearing is scheduled in the Government Accountability Committee on Wednesday, April 17th at 8:15 am, and it proposes radical changes that could severely impact our state's conservation efforts. Missouri Department of Conservation announces that over 3,000 turkeys were harvested during the Spring youth weekend. “Youth harvest increased by more than a thousand birds compared to the 2023 youth season and was the highest harvest total since 2017," according to MDC Turkey Biologist Nick Oakley.
