Pull for Conservation: Northwest Walk-up Registrations Welcome!


The annual Pull for Conservation: Northwest, will be taking place TOMORROW Saturday, April 15th, in Hamilton, MO. Sponsored by Northwest Missouri's Energy Cooperatives, this event is a great way to test your shooting skills, have some fun, and support conservation at the same time! Applications for Conservation Leadership Corp Now Open


The Conservation Leadership Corps began accepting applications April 1. CLC is a multi-year leadership development program for juniors and seniors in high school and college students. The program will start in the fall. We invite students in their sophomore year of high school through sophomore year in college to apply. To learn more about CLC and to apply, click HERE.

MDC Releases 2022

CWD Numbers


The Missouri Department of Conservation released a press release Monday announcing the preliminary Chronic Wasting Disease data collected in 2022. Of over 33,000 harvested deer tested in Missouri, 117 were positive for CWD. These numbers include test results from MDC targeted culling operations. Action Center Now!


Missouri's legislative session is back at the Capitol, and CFM is tracking all proposed bills that might affect our state's outdoors. Missouri's legislative session has reached the mid-way point in the session with Spring Break this week. So far, no harmful legislation has crossed chambers, but we will continue to monitor the bills and send out action alerts as necessary. Don’t forget to join us at Conservation Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, April 5th. This year’s Legislative Session ends on Friday, May 12th. Missouri Invasive Plant Council

Seeking Input


The Missouri Invasive Plant Council (MoIP) are seeking feedback on their proposal to state legislators to cease the sale of certain invasive plants within Missouri. MoIP wants to collect as much information as possible form the public on their knowledge and perception of certain invasive species. You can provide input on as many invasive species as you would like. The deadline to submit is May 31. To fill out the survey, visit the link HERE.
