Founder's Note: A Time for Gratitude!
by John Stasio
As we move toward the Thanksgiving Holiday, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for all the people who make our mission possible. Easton Mountain is sustained by it's members, volunteers, residents and extended community. Running a busy retreat center takes a lot of effort, and we are so blessed to have so many dedicated people lending their time, talent and treasure. We have a resident community of people who all play key roles in ensuring our success, a roster of teachers who lend their vision and voices to our programming, amazing volunteers who support the retreats with their hard work, members who support us with monthly contributions, and countless extended community members who have attended retreats and supported us in so many ways. We are so grateful to everyone who has helped to build this community for 20 years. Over the next two months there will be opportunities to continue to support us so we can continue to grow and thrive for another 20 years! Thanksgiving is a reminder to express our gratitude for all we are blessed with by continuing to practice loving kindness. I am grateful for you and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving Holiday!

Volunteer Spotlight: Puck Mansfield

Australian native Puck Mansfield has been coming to volunteer at Easton Mountain for many years. He has spent many a summer bringing a caring eye for detail to beautifying the lodge, and making sure that guests have a clean and safe environment. Puck just finished another long term stay at Easton Mountain as a volunteer and was a crucial part of a successful summer! We were sad to see him go, but we are excited to see him moving on to new adventures. He is currently traveling in the mountains of Nepal! We look forward to his next visit and are filled with gratitude for his hard work and dedication!
