TODAY: June Silver Saints Movie Matinee

In June we will offer a continuation of the Chronicles of Narnia in the movie adaption of C. S. Lewis’ “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.” The magical experience continues through C. S. Lewis’ incredible story telling. This story is even better than the last one! Come join us in the St. Thomas Parish Hall at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 22.

The Silver Saints Movie Matinee offers fun and fellowship with free movies. We offer snacks and beverages, and we will even pick you up and return you home if you wish. We have comfortable seating and a half-time break in the movie. Please bring your friends and ask people from our neighborhood. Call Jack or Becky Stokes at 256-881-4748. Please call 24 hours ahead if you will need a ride. Please come join us!

St. Thomas Youth (EYC) Go Hiking This Sunday!

This Sunday, June 25th, as long as weather permits, we’re taking the youth (rising 6th-12th grade) up to the Nature Trail on Green Mountain. Plan to meet in the youth room NO LATER than 3:25PM and we’ll head out from there. We will be back by 5PM to make it to church and join for dinner.  Pick up is by 6:20PM.

Join us every Sunday at 5pm for a "Come as you are" Holy Eucharist!

Every Sunday this summer, St. Thomas will continue to offer a more "Laid Back" worship service at 5pm in the Nave. Come join us for simple hymns from the Alleluia III hymnal, good sermons preached from the floor, Holy Communion, and (most Sundays) a simple dinner in the Parish Hall immediately following the Eucharist! Come as you are and invite a friend to join you for the 5pm Sunday Evening Holy Eucharist at St. Thomas.

Thank you for helping us keep this vital part of our parish thriving!
