The Dufferin Film Festival is coming to Orangeville

The inaugural Dufferin Film Festival (DFF) is coming to Orangeville August 9 and 10, and it promises to be a highlight in Orangeville’s cultural calendar.

The DFF will showcase a vibrant mix of Canadian independent films and emerging talent. From red-carpet arrivals to engaging forums, workshops, and networking events, the festival will offer an incredible experience for filmmakers and film lovers alike. Opening night includes a special screening of "Handsy" and "Lakeweed," the winners of DFF's Screenwriting Competition, and a lively social at the Bluebird Cafe & Grill. Day two of the festival continues the excitement with two additional screening blocks and a dynamic speaker series. The weekend closes Saturday evening with an exclusive VIP Awards and Cocktail Event at Greystones Restaurant.

Join us at the historic Opera House and various locations in downtown Orangeville to experience the magic of film in a truly remarkable setting. Tickets are on sale now. Visit our event calendar for more information.

"We love Orangeville because of its close proximity to nature and trails. Island Lake Conservation Area is like an oasis in the midst of our town; once you hike a kilometre or two you are surrounded by beautiful flora and fauna and you feel completely immersed in the forest. We are so fortunate to have that in our backyard!"
