DGP will be installing a flag display at the Corner of Race St and Cedar St in Cambridge, MD. There will be 519 flags representing the number of overdoses in Dorchester County since the Going Purple movement was started. 85 of those flags will be white representing those overdoses that resulted in a fatality.
This event is the kick-off for the purple activities in the Month of September designed to help raise awareness. There will be vendor tables set up to provide information for sources of support found throughout the County. Kona Ice will be on sight as well.
