Miguel Benavente credits the Palm Beach County District Biomedical Sciences Academy in middle school and accelerated coursework in high school for pushing him toward his goal of becoming a doctor.
Officer Liz Stroud started learning the skills that she uses on a daily basis as a Delray Beach police officer, when she was just 14 years old in the Atlantic Community High School Criminal Justice Academy.

Groundbreaking for Roosevelt Full Service Center
A momentous day for the historic Roosevelt High School site and the surrounding community!

District leaders, School Board members, Pirtle Construction, Roosevelt High School alumni, and community members officially broke ground on the Roosevelt Full Service Center, which will provide classrooms and resources for Adult and Community Education as well as meeting and event spaces.

Teacher Laura Sheedy calls her first grade students at Manatee Elementary her school family. Laura’s daughters have been so inspired by their mom’s dedication to helping kids, they have also decided to pursue a career inside the classroom! Laura will receive a $250 check from HCA Florida Healthcare.

The School District of Palm Beach County’s School Effectiveness Questionnaire (SEQ) allows parents of enrolled students in all elementary, middle, and high school grades to submit feedback to the District. Participation is strongly encouraged.
Parents and guardians can go to this link to access the survey. The survey closes on Friday, February 9.
