Durante 55 años esta agrupación folclórica ha presentado música popular enriquecida con estilos de todas las regiones de Argentina.
Integrantes de la reconocida agrupación folclórica: Víctor Hugo Godoy, Héctor “Choya” Pacheco, Américo “Meco” Albornoz y Lionel Pacheco, hijo de “Choya”. Lionel se unió al grupo en 2004 cuando "Lalo" Márquez dejó el grupo por motivos de salud.
Comenzaron en 1969 en Buenos Aires, bajo la dirección de Hernán Figueroa Reyes, director artístico de CBS. Desde entonces, han grabado más de veinte discos y han realizado giras tanto en Argentina como en Uruguay, Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia, Rusia, Jamaica, Estados Unidos y Perú. "El Museo de La Plata" va a estar presente en el Festival Argentino. Acércate a la mesa de la Fundación Museo de La Plata y realiza una visita virtual a las salas del museo. Conoce ¿Qué tienen en común una roca, una planta, el dinosaurio Diplodocus y el ser humano?
Descubrí los fósiles de la Megafauna que habito la región pampeana antes de la edad de hielo, ¡son inmensos! Pensa que la caparazón de un Gliptodonte, pariente del armadillo, es tan grande que una familia podría dormir en su interior. Imagínate la historia de los sarcófagos del Antiguo Egipto, que fueron donados en el siglo XIX al Museo por Dardo Rocha, fundador de la ciudad de La Plata.
