Due to the online system used, the name of the dish cannot be corrected online, but Tadd & Holly will be serving Chicken Quesadillas as indicated on the menu. For questions about lunch, contact Tadd's Coastal Kitchen via text message at 251-299-4494.

A Is For Africa

Matim Primary School

Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa

This year, we will continue to support A is for Africa and the Matim Primary School located in Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa. Students are encouraged to bring in .25 cents on the 25th of each month (if it is a school day). Our first A is for Africa day is coming up on September 25th. We have supported this program for a few years now, and we have learned that the school children appreciate the supplies they receive from our donations. We are thrilled to continue to support this program, as this creates a wonderful learning opportunity for our students to learn about children in another part of the world and their daily lives, which are so different from our own.

Alumni News

Congratulations William Porr!

National Merit Semifinalist

McGill-Toolen Catholic High School

Congratulations to William Porr, CCS alumnus, on being a National Merit Semifinalist representing McGill-Toolen Catholic High School!

Over 1.3 million juniors in nearly 21,000 high schools entered the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the 2023 PSAT/NMSQT qualifying test. William has made it to the Semifinalist pool of more than 16,000 high achievers.

This is a significant honor, as these students represent the top scores in their state and less than one percent of high school seniors nationwide. William will now compete for over 7,500 National Merit Scholarships, totaling nearly $30 million, to be awarded next spring.

Congratulations, William, for this amazing accomplishment!

We love recognizing our alumni who have done great things after leaving CCS! Know someone we should recognize? Nominate them for the CCS Alumni Spotlight, or send an email to tnetto@ccscatholic.com

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
