#HolyWeek Playlist

I'm not sure about you, but I like a good soundtrack. In fact, I will listen to specific songs at specific times based on my mood.

During this week we call Holy, I want to share my playlist with you. These are songs that I listen to every year during Holy Week and which help me reflect on the world-life-and-cosmic changes that took place during this time 2 thousand years ago. Most of the songs are secular (i.e., they aren't what we'd call "Christian" music). But they are deeply resonant.

The Complete Holy Week Schedule!

You're Invited!

Did you know that one of the reasons I love working with and learning from young people has to do with my call to the diaconate? You've probably noticed that - in most spaces - young people are told what to do; expectations are placed upon young people to learn and become, well, something. And while you do have things to learn (I mean, we all do!), I've always tried (though I've failed sometimes, to be sure!) of serving and learning from you. You have a lot to teach us.

So, there's no pressure. But I'd be honored if you would join us at St. John's for my ordination service on April 10. All the details are listed below!

Please Let Me Know if You Can Come ASAP!

We're still going to Stars & Strikes - no cap (see what I did there?). But with so many unable to attend last Sunday due to Spring Break and other plans, we're going to reschedule our trip for Sunday, April 7 following service.

Following our 10:30 service on April 7, we'll meet at the church bus to head toward the Rocket City and Stars and Strikes. We do have a decision to make (I'll text you), though. We need to vote on whether we'll...

Option 1: Go Staight-Up Arcade ($23.99 for 113 credits)

Option 2: Bowling ($50.00 for up to 6 people)

Option 3: Laser Tag ($33.99 for 4 players)

Option 4: Escapology Escape Room ($24.99 per person)

Please do bring money for food, too. You can find the whole menu, here: https://www.starsandstrikes.com/eat/.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns! Text me to reserve your spot, and parents/friends are welcome to join us!
