Phone Assurance Line (PAL) Program

Social connection is so important to our overall well-being, yet many older adults who live on their own report feeling lonely and isolated. Those who cannot leave their homes without assistance due to physical challenges such as vision impairment or trouble with mobility can be hit particularly hard.

Fortunately, the City of Claremont’s Senior Program partners with AgingNext to provide PAL—the Phone Assurance Line—for those who would like a friendly caller to check in and chat on a regular basis. If you would like to enroll in this program, want more information, or would like to volunteer to call seniors who need more social connection, please contact Janice Masters, Resource Specialist for AgingNext, at 909-399-5488 or janice@agingnext.org.
