The City of Duncanville will be performing planned annual maintenance and updates to the Utility Billing system on Thursday, January 11, and Friday, January 12, 2024. During this time, the Utility Customer Service Department will not have access to customer accounts, and payments cannot be processed in person or online.


THERE WILL BE NO WATER DISCONNECTIONS THE WEEK OF JANUARY 16. STAFF WILL NOT PROCESS ANY PENALTIES ACCUMULATED DURING THIS MAINTENANCE PROCESS.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSE AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires a TCEQ Certification, “C” Water or “C” Wastewater Licenses, and a Class “B” CDL Driver’s license.

STREETS MAINTENANCE WORKER



SALARY RANGE $35,276 - 51,151


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requires a High School Diploma.


CERTIFICATION, LICENSE, AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires a valid driver’s license.

UTILITY BILLING CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPERVISOR



STARTING SALARY RANGE $50,040.82 - $72,559.18


MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Requires a High School diploma and a minimum of 4 years of utility billing or related experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of utility billing or related experience, or a combination of education and experience. At least one year of supervisory experience is required.

Trout anglers will need a valid fishing license that includes a freshwater fishing endorsement. Anglers under 17 years of age are not required to have a license. More about fishing licenses and stamps.

REMINDER: Place trash, recycling, brush, and bulk debris at the curb/alley no earlier than 12:01 AM and no later than 7:00 AM on scheduled collection days.


No construction materials will be picked up. These items must be disposed of by the contractor or taken to Skyline Landfill for a $35 fee.
