Director of Public Works, Eric Rauschuber, celebrates 25 years of service
At last night's City Council meeting, Eric was recognized for 25 years of service. He was hired in 1999 as an engineering associate and has served as the Director for 20 years. He is a dedicated professional who has provided much expertise to our organization and community. We can't thank you enough for your service!

The splash pad is getting a makeover! Be advised that it will remain closed and is anticipated to open later in the summer as it goes through a complete renovation. Thank you for your patience as we work on this exciting new upgrade!

We're seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our swim instructor team for the upcoming season.

Fitness meets community
Parks & Rec is launching a new contracted program that is set to take place at Lakeline Park. Known as "AllInFit," this program will feature their mobile fitness truck, providing weightlifting classes. Each class will be $35 and you'll register through their website. AllInFit invites residents to fill out a survey to get an idea of what classes and times work best for the program.

The most recent City Council meeting took place on April 25, 2024.
Highlights included:
  • A Resolution authorizing an Agreement with Cyclomedia Technology, Inc. for automated evaluation of pedestrian curb ramps and sidewalks in an amount not to exceed $106,400
  • A Resolution authorizing a Professional Engineering Services Agreement with the Goodman Corporation for an evaluation of a potential Cedar Park Transportation Criteria Manual in an amount not to exceed $95,000
  • A Resolution authorizing a Fire Protection Agreement between the City of Cedar Park and Williamson-Travis Counties Municipal Utility District No. 1

The Cedar Park Public Library Foundation (CPPLF) has been working for many months, planning and creating the Imagine the Possibilities campaign to fund enhancements for the new Cedar Park Library. As the Imagine the Possibilities campaign transitions to the public, CPPLF has pledges of more than $866,000 and is halfway to the $1.5 million goal to support enhancements for the library.
