Are You Ready For Ostomy Awareness Day?

COCCI's #WithAnOstomy Campaign is in full swing for Ostomy Awareness Day! Our Self Care Challenge is still available, we hosted our first and very successful OstoChat Support Group Meeting, and next up we have our event, Misconceptions #WithAnOstomy. Hosted in partnership with United Ostomy Associations of America, this event is a continuation of our 5 Questions Series on Dispelling Myths #WithAnOstomy. Join us on Thursday, October 5th at 7:00 PM to discuss ostomy awareness and break down myths that are perpetuated far too often.

You can also join us on Saturday, October 7th on Instagram Live to discuss The Life of an Ostomate!

Research is critical for all demographics to receive proper care when diagnosed with a chronic illness. For IBD, BIPOC communities are vastly underrepresented in the data and we deserve better. That requires our involvement and support because we can't do it alone.

Buying a ticket or sponsoring our soiree raises funds to expand research and advance science and medicine for equitable patient care in digestive disease spaces. Tickets are still available as well as sponsor levels.

Join us for a night of celebration as we share why your commitment to health equity will create better health outcomes for us all.
