But, in the hustle and bustle of the holidays, when we scarcely have time to think, it's good to remember the spiritual practices of silence, solitude, and retreating from the bustling world.

We are bursting with gratitude for all our supporters. Whether you give financially, show up for events, or lead or perform at Villa Jubilee, we are grateful to God for blessing us with you, your talent, your time, and your gifts.

We will report to you in January about the details for 2016 (numbers of events, giving, expenses, etc.*). But we will give you a sneak peek at next month's report: we are totally dazzled by your generosity!

*Some of our supporters have urged us to make it clearer to others that gifts to the Villa Jubilee Foundation are not income to Stan or Sharon. Donations only partially cover the expenses of keeping this ministry open. Both Stan and Sharon donate hundreds of hours of their time to the ministry without any compensation whatsoever, and there are no salaried employees. Please read below to see all the ways you and others benefit from this ministry!

Retreat experiences and sacred concerts add an unparalleled dimension to spiritual formation for all of us. Here are just a few comments from some of our visitors over 2017:

But what about those who can’t afford retreat experiences?

The Villa Jubilee Foundation exists for the purpose of making retreat and special-event ministries possible. We exist so churches, nonprofits, clergy, missionaries, Christian leaders, and individuals can find the space necessary for transformational times of ministry.

Affordability matters . It’s the goal of VJF to keep prices low at this beautiful retreat center by subsidizing groups who can’t afford the regular rates and to provide scholarships for individuals who might otherwise not be able to come. But we’re not there yet . As a relatively new nonprofit, we do not yet have the funds to subsidize groups and individuals to the extent we desire. Won’t you please join our donor community? You provide spiritual formation opportunities for yourself and others.
You support a broad spectrum of ministries – local, national, and international.
You help people grow in faith and discipleship.
You answer someone’s desperate prayer for a much-needed spiritual respite.
