Community Art Box Program

The City of Chino's Community Art Box Program is an initiative designed to transform utility boxes across the city into vibrant works of art. Local artists and students are invited to contribute their creativity to beautify Chino and celebrate its rich history.

The program's first four art boxes were recently revealed around the Civic Center, showcasing stunning designs by talented local artists. Now, it's your turn to make your mark on the community.

Local Hazard Mitigation Plan

HEALTHY CHINO TWENTY YEARS CELEBRATION

Time: 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Location: Liberty Park, 11860 Telephone Avenue

Join us for this event celebrating the rich history of Healthy Chino! The event will feature community partners that Healthy Chino has had for over 20 years. There will also be a Healthy Chino History Walk which will visually display the history of the initiative throughout the years. A family fitness kit will also be offered to the first 300 families to arrive!

1-Day Free Compost and Mulch Giveaway

Date: September 21

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Location: 5050 Schaefer Avenue

Did you know all residential green waste collected curbside is made into a soil conditioner? This mulch is available FREE to Chino Residents at the upcoming Compost & Mulch event on September 21.

Friendly event reminders:

First-come, first-served for Chino residents.
Bring a shovel and durable containers to load and transport material.
Masks, gloves and eye protection are recommended.
Bring identification and utility bill at entrance.
Non-Chino residents can attend during the last hour of the event.
