They are one of a kind, make every dinner party they attend better, and you love drinking wine with them! Just like our special time-tested friendships, well-known cheeses must be cherished.To do this, some European cheeses are granted name protection, ensuring authenticity and quality.
Cooking with Cheeses with Denomination of Origin Protection
This month we are enjoying new recipes using iconic cheeses. Their unique flavors cannot be imitated, and they are undoubtedly the show-stopping ingredient in many classics. Imagine a Caprese salad without Mozzarella di Bufala Campania. Or Georgian Khachapuri without the unique taste of Sulguni or Imeretian cheese. They wouldn't be the same dishes, or nearly as delicious. To further prove our point we're sharing three recipes that allow cheeses with protected denomination of origin to shine.
